This Wimbledon garden has been transformed into a calm, multi-purpose family space that functions as a genuine extension of the home. The materials connect the home to the outdoors seamlessly, ensuring a natural flow that encourages use of the garden as a daily living space rather than an occasional one.A mature multi-stem Parrotia tree provides a striking focal point and anchors the main seating zone. Its canopy offers soft shade and a sense of intimacy, establishing a visually appealing lounge area ideal for reading, conversation or quiet moments in the garden. The tree also introduces a strong architectural element, ensuring the garden carries structure and presence through every season.
Practical features have been integrated with subtlety and precision. The discreet garden store offers ample space for outdoor equipment, children’s items and household essentials, ensuring the garden remains uncluttered and visually calm. The carefully proportioned lawn brings open space for play and movement, adding softness and liveliness to the scheme, while still maintaining a refined overall aesthetic.
