Garden Landscape Contractor Berkshire

This garden landscape is another fine instalment to The Garden Builders portfolio of landscape gardens that has seen us revered as the most reliable and sought after garden landscaper in the London area.

A beautiful garden design brought to us by Fiona Harrison in the heart of Windsor which has been masterfully interpreted by The Garden Builders. This garden design was divided in 4 zones. The first zone is the paved terrace by the house. The second zone features a formal lawn as pictured above accompanied by a paved seating area for the sole purpose of relaxation at the back with a metal pergola. The third zone has a second play area lawn with a semi-circular walkway at the back and finally the last zone of this large family garden landscape is a RHS gravel area which is currently used as a utility space and an additional seating designated to be developed in future.

Looking closer at the garden design, the paved terrace by the house with reclaimed Yorkstone paving in random rectangular pattern which is a nice contrast to the regular lawn pattern which is a focal point of this garden design. Paved paths with brick pavers laid in stretcher bond patter and double brick on the edges. The lawn in this garden landscape is framed with paved paths.

The seating area with the metal pergola with 900x600mm natural stone sawn paving. The pergola is the top of the range metal from Renson with retractable side screens, roof and LED strip lighting. A semi-circular path at the end of the secondary lawn is a really nice design touch. The compost bin area is hidden at the far corners of the bin. A necessary feature in this landscape garden added by the garden landscaper but hidden to reduce the blight. For variation, there are multiple seating areas dotted around this garden given in variety and each seating area offering their own benefits from comfy to tranquil.

PLANTING

There are a variety of specimen trees that surround and feature in this landscape garden including Carpinus Betulus (Hornbeam) on the left hand side of the lawn under planted with yew hedging and an avenue of multi-stem Amelanchier on the right hand side. A multi-stem ornamental cheery with a red bark and a multi-stem silver birches behind seating area with the pergola. A prunus lusitanica hedge (otherwise known as a Portuguese Laurel) also accompany the luscious planting that surrounds this garden. A fence painted black helps to act as a contrast to the greenery of the garden, causing it to have a more striking effect. Mixed planting offers various textures, colours and the choice of plants create a year long interest due to their seasonality.

LIGHTING

Finally the lighting is subtly hidden amongst the garden, lighting up the planting and the rest of the garden in general to make the garden far more accessible at all times of the day.
