Garden Design Epsom Surrey

This featured Surrey Garden, based in Epsom more specifically was another of The Garden Builder’s brilliant In-House design that encapsulates everything we do here at The Garden Builders and that is providing quality designs and builds through a seamless process.

A family-orientated garden that offers a simple and contemporary layout which was a key point that the client wanted to get across. Sawn Yorkstone paving steps across the house with a bullnose detail. The gravel paths that you can see are edged with sawn yorkstone also. For all those wishing to know what the gravel is; it is CedaGravel from CED; but is now renamed and sold as EccoGravel.

Epsom Garden Landscape Design Contractor

This in-house design divided the garden into 4 zones. One zone features a well built terrace that sits alongside the house, showcasing the hard landscaping capabilities that we have here at GB for this Garden Design in Surrey. The water feature that is compliment with a nice new, manicured lawn plays another part of the garden. The third zone features a gravel garden which is accompanied by a flower meadow lawn. Finally, the garden room situated at the back of the garden with a rear terrae and hot tub finishes off the garden and is a brilliant destination to end up at after adventuring through this brilliant garden.

The Raised pond water feature is also featuring sawn Yorkstone cladding and copings and a bubble jet. A similar water feature is represented in a different garden that we had built for the Garden Designer, Lynne Marcus based in Surbiton (Hyperlink). This water feature was asked for in the design after taking inspiration from a previous garden on our website. The existing fence was repaired and painted black to help the vibrant colour of the plants stand out. Trellis was also added to the fence to increase the height and therefore privacy within the garden. A hot tub was placed within the garden as per the clients request. The metal edging of the gravel garden helps to maintain the edging over a substantial amount of time. The garden in its original form contained large shrubs on the boundary which have been retained and incorporated within the design. Penultimately, the planting was very mixed but complimentary to each other; featuring an olive tree. Finally, the lighting was fitted to make the garden can be utilised at all times of the day; preparing the client for the shorter days ahead.
