Family Garden Feltham

The project brief was to create two entertaining spaces either side of a new Summer House in West London for relaxing and entertaining family and friends. In The first entertaining space comprised of curved seating bench built around an outside fire table, ideal for those cosy late nights. The seating bench was constructed using large yellow paddle stones and sawn York stone that was finished by a professional stone mason to shape and smooth off the ends and give a precise concave and convex bull nose. The bespoke made fire table, supplied by GB, was finished with a grey powder coated exterior and inlaid with black Basalt stone.

The second entertaining space was the cooking area and revolved around an eye-catching BBQ kitchen. The BBQ was positioned on a raised platform of Basalt paving and initially constructed from concrete blacks before being clad with Charcoal Norstone tiered walling. The top work surface was Nero-Assoluto granite with Napoleon cooking grill and stainless steel doors. The flooring surface around the BBQ platform was decked using Ipe hardwood and edged with granite setts. Also included was a bespoke storage bench constructed from Ipe deck boards.

It's hard to believe but these two small gardens took just as long to build as some of our large scale gardens. The end result turned these once unused dumping areas into two great usable spaces. Both areas were a real challenge but with a little patients the gardens came together and now look fantastic!
