KENNINGTON CONTEMPORARY SMALL GARDEN DESIGN.
This job was particularly difficult as the job was done through the house due to very little accessibility. Therefore, protection was put down for all aspects of the house such as the stairs, hanging pictures, carpet, and flooring so that we can bring the resources through the house. The client commented on the care and consideration that The Garden Builders brought to this project.

The garden landscape itself is split into 2 areas. A paved terrace feature by the house, situated alongside a new extension that the client had just erected.

PAVED TERRACE FEATURE GARDEN DESIGN KENNINGTON.
The other area is a seating and entertaining terrace with brick pavers and built-in benches. The paved terrace is one step high compared to the brick pavers terrace. The garden landscape featured a raised bed at the back to help retain the existing level change. Accompanied with a rendered and painted finish, dark grey in colour to act as a bold contrast to the rest of the garden design. The 900x600m paving grey contemporary sandstone was supplied by London Stone. British brick pavers from Chelmer Valley laid in herringbone pattern.

WESTERN RED CEDAR LANDSCAPE GARDEN DESIGN KENNINGTON.
The existing fence on either side of the garden was repaired and painted black for contracts & new stainless steel wires to train Trachlospermum Jasminoides evergreen climbers. Existing rear boundary wall brick wall was clad with Western Red Cedar landscape battens in a horizontal design. Evergreen pleached trees are found across the back of the garden which is utilised for screening and privacy. There is a built-in hardwood clad timber bench that offers storage for any garden utensils. As pictured, the garden features a water feature bowl with water lilies that is surrounded by some luscious planting and embedded subtly amongst it all. Off-the-shelf timber storage unit accompanies this garden design in order to offer another space to place cushions for the outdoor furniture and garden tools.

Finally, a lush and leafy planting with specimen evergreen Magnolia & Grandiflora with Taxus Baccata (Yew) balls in various sizes.
